시간과 공간의 소용돌이 속에서 우리의 몸이 뒤섞이는 시간 The time our bodies blend in a vortex of time and space 없는 시간 (가제) Excluded Time 김신록 손현선 Kim Shinrock Son Hyunseon 연극하는 김신록과 미술하는 손현선이 만나 극장의 시간을 탐색합니다. 실재와 허구가 뒤섞이는 시간, 살이 뼈로부터 흩어져 내리는 시간, 서로가 서로를 침범하고 수직과 수평의 축이 뭉개지는 시간을 만들어 내고 싶습니다. 살아있는 자를 수선하기, 마우스피스, 비평가 등의 연극과 지옥, 괴물, 재벌집 막내아들 등의 드라마를 통해 관객들에게 잘 알려져 있는 배우 김신록은 인간과 세계의 관계를 배우의 몸으로 탐색하는 것이 연기라는 이해를 바탕으로 연극, 영상, 시각, 무용 등 다양한 장르와의 연결을 통해 연기의 세계를 확장해 온 창작자이다. 극장이라는 시간과 공간에서 만난 모든 사람과 사물의 몸이 열리고 뒤섞이게 하는데 관심을 기울이고 있다. 손현선은 보이지 않지만 몸으로 감지되는 감각의 다양한 추상적 상태를 그려내는 것에 관심을 두고 작업하는 시각예술가이다. 최근에는 시각예술가로서 본다는 것은 무엇인가?를 다시금 질문하며 보이는 것과 보이지 않는 것 사이의 연결과 만남의 순간을 만드는데 집중하고 있다. 두 사람은 시간과 공간에 대한 선형적인 이해 속에서 탈락하고 숨어버린 조각들을 미술작품과 텍스트와 소리와 말과 몸으로 다시 길어 올린다. 이 때 극장은 거대한 블렌더가 되어 개체들을 조각 내고 뒤섞고 액화시킨다. 조각들이 길어 올려지는 열린 틈으로, 액체가 스며 나오는 훼손된 단면으로, 각자의 의식과 무의식이 넘치게 스며 나오기를, 극장이 수증기로 가득 차기를. Kim Shinrock, who acts, and Son Hyunseon, who creates art, come together to ex- plore the realm of theatrical time. They seek to create moments where reality and fiction intertwine, where flesh disperses from bone, and where individuals invade each other, blurring the lines between vertical and horizontal axes. Kim Shinrock, an actor well-known for her roles in plays like Réparer Les Vivants, Mouthpiece, and El critico, and dramas like Hellbound, Beyond Evil, and Reborn Rich, is a creator who has expanded the world of acting through connec- tions with various genres such as theater, film, visual arts, and dance. She focuses on exploring the relationship between humans and the world through the actor's body, aiming to unfold the bodies of all people and objects encountered in the theatrical space and time. Son Hyunseon, a visual artist, is interested in depicting various abstract states of sensations that are invisible but perceptible through the body. Recently, she has been questioning what it means to see as a visual artist, focusing on creating moments of connection and encounter between the visible and the invisible. Together, they lift hidden pieces lost within linear understandings of time and space using art, text, sound, speech, and the body. In this process, the theater becomes a giant blender, breaking down individuals into pieces, mixing and liquefying them.
